Camp for Teachers
Experience the new role of a teacher first-hand.
For three days, leave the role of the person who knows the answer. Join a team, tackle a real problem and experience what it means to create room for initiative, responsibility and learning through action.
Experience first
Describing the new role of a teacher is not enough
It is difficult to give students more responsibility without experiencing that situation yourself. The camp lets teachers encounter uncertainty, teamwork and real feedback from the learner’s side.
In three days, you turn a topic into a small project, meet people outside the classroom and test a first solution. Reflection then connects the experience back to your own teaching.
Who it is for
For teachers who want to give students more room to act
For educators who do not want students merely to reproduce correct answers, but to notice problems, work with others and take responsibility for a result.
When explanation is no longer enough
For teachers looking for ways to connect learning with action, experience and the world outside school.
When you want to guide without controlling
Try how to set boundaries, ask useful questions and support a team without taking its responsibility away.
When change needs a shared experience
For staff teams that need more than a methodological presentation to begin changing everyday teaching.
Why now
The world we teach for is changing faster than teaching
AI can generate answers in seconds. Education therefore needs to develop the ability to ask, judge, collaborate and act in situations without a ready-made procedure.

A correct answer is only the beginning
Students also need to recognise which question matters and what their answer changes for another person.
Independence cannot be assigned
It grows when students can make real decisions, see their impact and learn from feedback.
The role changes from expert to guide
The teacher still brings expertise, but also creates an environment in which students can safely act before everything is clear.
How it works
Three days as both participant and teacher
Each day advances the project and opens a different question about teaching, responsibility and learning.
Day 1 — experience
Topics and teams
Choose topics that matter, form new teams and notice what happens when no one assigns roles in advance.
Day 2 — reality
Through another person’s eyes
Meet people, test assumptions and experience how direct feedback changes both the project and the team.
Day 3 — transfer
Solution and reflection
Create a simple solution, reflect on the experience and identify what you want to change in your teaching.
What you take away
Experience you can use to reshape your teaching
Instead of a universal method, you leave with a reference experience that helps you decide where to give students more room and where they still need support.
The learner’s side
Recall what uncertainty, unclear roles and real responsibility feel like when you are the participant.
Concrete facilitation moves
Try questions, boundaries and reflection techniques that support learning without taking over the work.
A change you can test
Translate the experience into one realistic experiment in your own class or school.

Practical details
A camp for a school staff or a group of teachers
We tailor the context to your school while preserving the experience itself. Participants work in teams, meet reality outside the classroom and reflect together.
A staff team or mixed group
The camp works for one school as well as teachers from different schools and subjects.
No finished project required
Participants bring topics they care about. The problem and project emerge during the camp.
Experience
The purpose is not to evaluate teachers but to create a shared basis for changing practice.
Transfer into teaching
A follow-up reflection helps turn insight into a concrete classroom or school experiment.
We cannot explain the new role of a teacher. You need to experience it first.
